Fresh Cut Fries:

Our fries are hand cut daily from locally sourced non-GMO russet potatoes. Our potatoes are delivered weekly from Downey Potato Farms to ensure fresh, farm to table french fries.  Our hand cut potatoes are fried twice in 100% canola oil that is trans-fat free, cholesterol free, low in saturated fat, is a source of omega 3 and does not contain any additives.


The Mess Hall's burgers are 100% all natural, locally raised, grass-fed beef free from antibiotics, hormones and steroids. Our burgers are all handmade in house and contain no fillers or additives. We've paired our burgers with the perfect classic bun from Ace Bakery which we butter and lightly toast to order. This bun has a soft golden crust, a tender interior and is made of all natural ingredients. 


The Mess Hall uses real, squeaky cheese curds from La Fromagerie Champetre located in Repentigny, Quebec. 


The Mess Hall’s signature gravy is beef based and is made in a traditional “poutine sauce” style that creates a rich brown gravy.  Our gravy is made several times a day to ensure freshness throughout service.


Our one-of-a-kind vegetarian gravy is made from a vegetarian bouillon and herb base. The gravy is thickened with corn starch rather than flour to accommodate people with gluten sensitivities.


We offer vegan poutine options using our vegetarian gravy and our favourite vegan “cheese” Daiya.  Daiya melts and stretches, has a great cheesy flavour, is non-GMO and contains no soy, gluten or nut products.
